Swim Centre Verhoef runs the aquaDucksTM swimming programme that cater to infants, pre-schoolers (6 – 36 months) and children (3 years & above). The aquaDucksTM swimming programme has a unique programme made up of a blend of European, USA and Australian teaching techniques which has been further streamlined and developed to cater to the specific needs to those in living in Singapore.

aquaDucksTM is a child centered programme that puts love and personal care as the most important factor in our swimming programme. Our philosophy of learning at each child’s own pace will give your child the self-confidence and fulfillment of satisfaction that is needed to create a strong base for success in future goals and achievements in life.

The joys and benefits of swimming include family bonding, building self-esteem, stimulating the child development and setting the stage for a positive attitude towards learning and exploration which can last a lifetime. Stimulating coordination and fitness in the water at a young age makes swimming a most unique and healthy activity that lasts from infancy to old age.

The main goal of the programme is to instill confidence and enhance water safety using a child-centred approach. Safety first is continually the focus of the programme. Progression is made at the child’s pace with the coach carefully monitoring to ensure that pleasure and confidence is not compromised at any time.
